What time do you close?
Contagion Athletics is open 24/7 and attended at all times. We are open for when you want to work out… which is whenever you want.
Is there a couples membership?
Yes, but only available at the front desk.
Do you have a posing area?
Yes, there is a posing room!
Is there an elevator?
Yes, and our elevator is large enough for those with wheelchairs.
Do you have a swimming pool?
No, we do not have a swimming pool. Indoor pools generally have issues with humidity and odor problems that affect the entire gym. Most clients prefer the higher quality exercise equipment that we provide instead of the added cost of a pool.
Are there different levels of personal training to fit my skill level?
Yes, we offer personal training for beginners all the way up to professional athletes. Personal training is recommended for those who want a comprehensive guided training early in the fitness journey or those with health issues.
Are kids allowed?
Kids older than 10 can join while accompanied by a parent. We sometimes have specific camps for even younger kids or kids looking for professional training.
Do you have a kids area?
We have a lounge area in our cafe that is very public where kids can read or play games but is unattended. You kids would need to be old enough to hang out there while they are in the building.
What is the cleaning policy?
All of our equipment has sanitizing antibacterial and antiviral sprays and microfiber wipes nearby. Our equipment is also widely spaced so you can almost always find your own workout space. Our locker rooms are mostly hands free hardware.
Is there a walking / running track?
Yes, we have an indoor oval track that is cushioned and comfortable enough to walk on with socks or shoes. The track is a dedicated space so there is no other traffic crossing your path. The indoor track is great since you are not prevented from walking due to weather conditions.
Do you have professional equipment?
Yes, we have competition training equipment spaces.
How do I cancel my membership?
If your have a simply monthly membership, you can cancel at any time and your membership will end at the end of your billing month. If you purchased a auto-renewing yearly contract with discounts, there are fees for early cancellation. For your specific account, please contact the front desk staff. It is important to choose a membership that suits your specific needs.
Do you have a 3D body scanner?
Yes, please inquire at the desk if you would like to use it to track your progress.

Our equipment was specifically selected to provide the best experience anywhere. We use great products from Woodway, Rogue, Watson, Arsenal Fitness, Matrix and many more. You will want to try many of our various bars, handles, plates. Our variety of strength machines is unmatched. We have the most versatile equipment around. We clearly differentiate ourselves from the “discount” gyms.

Yes, we can provide nutrition advice from experience trainers for beginners to professional athletes. Our cafe can also solve some of your macro needs while you are here. We recommend signing up for specific nutrition training sessions if you are serious about results.

We have an area dedicated to equipment that women specifically enjoy.
Can I schedule a tour?

Yes, you can buy short term passes. The passes are especially popular with those that are traveling.

Do you accept cash?
For the security of our staff and customers, we do not accept cash for gym payments. Cash is accepted for cafe and autospa purchases. All major credit cards are accepted.
Do you have parking?
Contagion Athletics has plenty of free parking space all around the building. You will not find yourself parking along the street during usual gym operations. We have plenty of extra space so you can park as far away from other cars as you choose in order to avoid door dings.
Is the facility secure?
We are located in the Amarillo medical center with all city services very close. The facility is staffed and monitored 24/7 if you need any assistance. Call the front desk at any time. We also monitor fire and weather safety.
Is tanning available?
We do have a tanning bed and certain gym packages may offer discounted tanning. Single sessions are available.
Do you have water refill stations with filtered water?
Yes, water refill stations are free to use for members.
Can my car be detailed while I work out?
Possibly but it depends on the schedule of the detail shop. We can also offer you a day pass to work out with certain detailing packages.
Do your trainers have specific education requirements?
Our trainers must have a college degree in relevant fields of physical fitness. We do not allow random certificates at our facility.
Can I being a friend to work out?
yes of course, simply have them pick up a day pass if they are not current members.
How long does my day pass last exactly?
Your day pass can be purchased early and the clock starts ticking when you sign in at the front desk on arrival. The pass expires 24 hours after activation.
